I’m so happy to announce that my project Iowa Gifts & Souvenirs won Gold American Advertising Award. This is my third award from the AAF (American Advertising Federation)! The annual black-tie dinner gala and awards presentation was held on February 20 in Dubuque, IA (USA). The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDY, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.
It looks like a new marketing trend… At least two well-known brands use the concept of “Do It Yourself” projects made by their social media followers and website visitors. Both Hermès and Moleskine encourage their fans to take a break during a busy day and play with paper, glue and scissors. Why are they doing that?
You probably will not find much information about this museum in Atlanta guidebooks or travel magazines… The Robert C. Williams Paper Museum (or American Museum of Papermaking) is located at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Established in 1939, the museum is a unique resource where you may find a lot of interesting information about the history of paper and paper making technologies. This is a must-see place for every artist or graphic designer!
My fabric pattern project will be presented at the Tokyo Designers Week (October 25th – November 3rd, 2014).

This year, Tokyo Designers Week 2014 will be held with 4 main themes – Design, Art, Fashion and Music. Visitors will see more than 20 programs and events during 10 days.
The National Postal Museum keeps many treasures… These five American stamps are a great source of inspiration for modern designers. Which one is your favorite?
